Since every ring at Swan Jewellry is handcrafted specifically for you, getting the right size matters. Here are three simple ways to find your ring size from home before you order.
Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring
Take a ring that already fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters using a ruler. Compare that measurement against a standard ring size chart to find your closest match. This is usually the most accurate at-home method.
Method 2: String or Paper Strip
Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters. Compare that circumference measurement to a ring size chart to find your size.
Method 3: Printable Ring Sizer
Many printable ring sizing guides are available online — print one at 100% scale (not “fit to page”), cut it out, and follow the instructions to find your size.
A Few Tips for Accuracy
Measure your finger at the end of the day when it’s slightly larger, avoid measuring when your hands are cold, and if you’re between two sizes, it’s generally better to size up slightly for comfort.
Still Not Sure?
If you’re ordering as a gift and can’t ask the recipient directly, borrowing a ring they already wear on the intended finger and measuring it is usually your best bet.
